Charles earned his Bachelor of Science – Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1980. He earned his New Jersey Certificate of Public Accounting in October, 1984, and is also licensed as a CPA in New York. He spent several years at KPMG Main Hurdman before starting his own practice in 1987. He served as a Director at Wayne Savings Bank, FSB from 1993 to 1998, and is currently a Director at NVE Bank in Englewood, NJ. Charles taught as an adjunct Accounting professor at Ramapo College from 1992 to 1994. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Charles served as the Chairman of the Professional Conduct Committee of the NJSCPA from 2007 – 2009, and is currently serving as a member of the committee. He is a Past President of the Bergen Chapter of the NJSCPA.
